    <summary type="html">I requested to join the Freecycle Yahoo group a couple of weeks ago, so I could, well, freecycle. I'm very excited about the notion of getting rid of some perfectly good items so they don't wind up in a landfill. For some reason, my request was ignored. I contacted the national group and they couldn't seem to help. Does anyone here have any suggestions?</summary>
